Mehdi Bahrami won Best Demo Award from ACM ICN 2016

Mehdi Bahrami from Cloud Lab, Lei Liu et. al have been awarded the Best Demo Award from ACM ICN 2016 which is the leading conference in Information-Centric Networking. The conference was held in Kyoto, Japan from Sep 26-28. Previously, Mehdi has been awarded a travel grant from ACM SIGCOMM to present the demo (see the award news).

The demo shows how a consumer is able to verify all involved functions in a function chaining process which is implemented for ICN by extending NDN data packets. In order to implement the method, the scientists develop a new data packet for NDN-cxx when it collects security meta data of each involved function. The demo also shows a new routing protocol in NDN.
